About us

Treetop Tales is a sole proprietorship founded by Sara Lockertsen whom, together with collaboration partners, offers services within photo, film, text and design.

Treetop Tales was founded by Sara Lockertsen in 2018. With an education in digital media production and 13 years of varied work experience within different creative disciplines, Sara wanted to combine her services into a more complete package.

In collaboration with film worker David Skauen, film worker Trond Gaute Lockertsen, and professionals within Film and IT, Treetop Tales offers services within photo, film, web, design, text and translation. The name Treetop Tales is a reflection of our approach to projects: big picture thinking combined with creativity and a strong focus on storytelling.

Sara E. R. Lockertsen

Founder
Photo, Design, Text and Translation

Sara has a Bachelor's degree in digital media production and studied film production and creative writing in Dublin. She has many years of experience in the film and TV industry, as a director, 1st AD and general production person. She has worked as an event photographer for 10+ years, and as a graphic/web designer for 5+ years.

David Skauen

Drone filming, Design

David has a Bachelor's degree in visual communication and a Master's degree in visual design. He has worked in the film and TV industry for many years and has specialized in Motion Graphics, animation, information videos, drone filming and visual effects. He has also worked as a graphic designer for 15+ years.

Trond Gaute Lockertsen

Film

Trond is educated as a mechanical engineer, but discovered early on that he wanted to work in film. He has now worked 50 years in the film and TV industry, as a line producer, production manager, director, controller and more. He has a lot of experience with budgeting for film and TV projects.
